Over the last 7 years Capcom has developed unique expertise in restaurant paging systems. In the UK one of the early users of restaurant paging systems was the Cruise Line sector – a typical cruise ship has 5 restaurants and 3000 hungry passengers who all want to dine at their preferred time and in their preferred restaurant. With Capcom’s unique track record of over 20 years of successfully delivering radio communications systems to the Cruise Line sector, we were ideally positioned to use our systems knowledge and expertise to integrate restaurant paging systems into the cruise ships existing management systems.
There are two main types of restaurant paging systems:-
Designed to solve your customer queuing headaches, is simple to operate and install and makes life easier for everyone. Each dining group is given a lightweight and easy to handle pager and invited to relax in the lounge or bar area until their table is ready, at which point their pager will beep, flash or vibrate without disturbing other diners. Guest paging systems improve customer flow which maximises revenue opportunities, reduces pressure on “front of house” and gives your customers a far more positive experience.
Designed to help staff to serve diners’ food quickly and efficiently by putting your kitchen in direct contact with your waiting staff. The server paging system couldn’t be simpler to use – or more effective in operation. It consists of an 8 or 16 channel control panel in the kitchen, linked to the waiting staff’s pagers. As soon as the diners’ meals are ready to be served the kitchen alerts the server via their pager. Server paging improves customer experience and increases the effectiveness and efficiency of staff.
Capcom has recently been appointed as the UK supplier for JTech and Discover Systems restaurant paging solutions and is increasingly involved in the growing restaurant paging system market within the broader Hospitality sector.
